SHANA S. PATTERSON, R.D.

Ms. Patterson, accomplished registered dietitian and exercise science specialist, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as Assistant Vice-President of Nutrition Services at IMAGEplus+ Health Concepts. She has extensive experience coordinating nutrition and physical activity programs throughout the State of Colorado, working tirelessly to ensure continuity among multi-level efforts to improve the health and wellness of all residents. As a registered dietitian at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment she has created and managed a ground breaking restaurant initiative program, the Smart Meal Seal, which has been used as a tool to help raise awareness of healthy choices in the restaurant environment. Additionally, Ms. Patterson has served as Chairperson and coordinator for the State of Colorado's 5 A Day and Early Childhood Task Force programs, which coordinate and assimilate standards of practice in the prevention of childhood obesity. Ms. Patterson worked for seven years as the owner/CEO of Body Alliance, a nutrition consulting business that specialized in corporate wellness, sports nutrition and chronic health promotion.
